I understand why you’re numbering it like that, but you could mention it in the title or TN notes just under the title on the chapter page, just to keep order. Nothing much, maybe like Chapter 12 /V2 Ch1 in one way or another. Just incase someone wants to read a specific volume in the future. I would suggest you decide on how to do it, before you’re done with Volume 2, even if it’s just volume dividers on a index page.
